Garlic, maybe a little early...

This week  I had bought a 20 Garlic bulbs from the Indian shop on Mill road and decided to take them to school and plant them up.

All classes were involved. Seeing the full bulb, then dividing into cloves.
Getting a feeling and understanding that if you put the 8 little cloves together you will get a whole again.  Did not go further into the concept but may be helpful when they start in maths their division concept.

We planted 4 rows in bed 2 and they should be ready in June
Once they come out, we shall transplant the leeks grown by the Gardening club in their place
