Wednesday 29th April Gardening Club - Life of a Snail

Two weeks ago we have sowed some lettuces and last week we noticed that they had all germinated.

This week we will look at who else eats lettuces other than us humans.

We are grateful for the fact that Mr Bruce let us use his class room so that we could watch a little film about Snails  on his big screen

We found out about the body parts of snails, we located the foot, mouth, shell, shell apex, respiratory pore, tentacles (eyes and smelling ones). So that we could make our own to take home.

We did not manage to do any sowing today as we ran out of time. Will do this with the class on Friday.
