Meeting the headmaster

We have just moved to Cambridge and am missing my allotment already.
The waiting list for an a space of my own will be long, so I have decided to try and combine my vegetable growing experiences, with doing something in the community.

I phoned St Luke's school to find out if they have a school garden. It turns out that they have a designated area with rectangular raised beds, a fantastic shed/school room, tools  all very promising. The best thing for me was that they would love some help look after it as the teachers were busy with their curriculum and the parents who set it all up so beautifully, had now left.

Yippee. I found what I was looking for. A local space to grow vegetables and share my experience with primary school age children.

Can't wait to see it.
